Our Glow, Baby, Glow Turmeric + Kojic Acid + Alpha Arbutin soap is a beautiful bar that has been created with hyperpigmentation in mind. 

Our Glow, Baby, Glow Turmeric + Kojic Acid + Alpha Arbutin + Glycolic Acid soap is for you if you would like to brighten up your complexion naturally or fade dark spots. Made with a generous amount of Turmeric extract, Kojic Acid (2%) and Alpha Arbutin and Glycolic Acid (3%),  this advanced bar is great to help with issues around pigmentation and the hyper production of melanin or dark marks: below are some of the benefits of our actives:

👉🏾 Alpha Arbutin Extract - evens out and brightens skin tone, lightens darkened areas, and can help with the disappearance of scars.

👉🏾 Kojic Acid - very effective in lightening dark spots, dark marks and hyperpigmentation.

👉🏾 Turmeric powder - Turmeric powder contains antioxidants and anti inflammatory properties and is known to naturally lighten the skin and give it a natural glow. Turmeric is also known to help with eczema, psoriasis, acne & fade dark spots amongst other things.

👉🏾 Glycolic Acid -  It is a naturally occurring alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from sugarcane. It is an Exfoliant that gently dissolves dead skin cells, unclogging pores, and revealing a fresh, radiant complexion hiding beneath the surface. Regular use of our soap helps to promote cell turnover, leaving your skin looking renewed and rejuvenated. Glycolic acid effectively stimulates collagen production, a key protein that maintains your skin's elasticity. By encouraging the growth of new cells, it can help reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and even fade age spots, resulting in a more youthful complexion.

 👉🏾 Licorice root extract - a natural extract known for its soothing, skin brightening and clarifying and antiaging properties. It can help even out skin tone and reduce the appearance of dark spots or hyperpigmentation, resulting in a brighter complexion.

Alpha Arbutin is a naturally occurring antioxidant and skin brightener that is naturally found in the bearberry plant. It reduces melanin formation, improving the appearance of age spots, freckles, melasma, post-inflammatory pigmentation and hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation is a common skin condition that refers to any darkening of the skin. Dark patches form usually on the face and hands or other areas that are commonly exposed to the sun. This darkening of the skin occurs when an excess of melanin, which is a brown pigment that gives our skin its color, forms deposits in our skin. Although hyperpigmentation is harmless many people are uncomfortable with the way it makes them look. Hyperpigmentation could also result from hormonal changes, eg Pregnancy and the use of birth control pills can bring about the overproduction of melanin due to hormonal changes.

Ingredients:  Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Tallow, Aqua, Sodium Hydroxide, Haldi Curcuma Longa (Turmeric) extract, Licorice Root Extract, Alpha Arbutin, Kojic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Cymbopogon nardus (Citronella) Oil, Parfum  

Directions for use:

Work into a rich lather and massage all over your body, before rinsing off. Massage for at least 2 minutes into any problem areas before rinsing off.  For a more beautiful experience, pair with our Glow, Baby, Glow, Turmeric Whipped Body Butter or our Turmeric and Carrot Nourishing Glow Body Oil or our Fade Cream, to greatly improve and enhance your glow. 

Note: Please ensure your do a patch test before you use our products especially if you have super sensitive skin. If you have super sensitive skin, we recommend our unscented products.

Sensitive Skin:

Please conduct a patch test before using this soap. If you have super sensitive skin, please use our Triple Turmeric Soap (in Lemongrass or Unscented) or the No More Itchy Skin, Turmeric x Oats Soap and not this soap or perhaps use this soap on less sensitive areas you are looking to fade.

Sizes and appearance: Our soaps are all hand made from scratch and so, their sizes may often fluctuate and their colour may often look darker or lighter, but, rest assured, the sizes are never LESS than the displayed sizes and the content of our additives and actives stay the same. Infact, our bar soaps weigh upward of 130g and you’d occasionally find a soap that weighs between 145g - 150g but we have generally pegged the weight at a less weight of 120g (for a large bar) etc to allow our customers have a pleasant surprise of a larger bar- but never the displeasure of a bar that weighs less.
